Your journey to the JetBlue flight deck can start right here in Pensacola.
JetBlue Gateway Select is designed for aspiring pilots with little or no previous flight experience who want a structured pathway toward becoming a JetBlue First Officer. Candidates who are selected for the program begin a carefully designed training journey that takes them from the fundamentals of flight through the certificates, ratings, experience, and professional development required along the way.
As an official JetBlue Gateway Select flight training partner, SkyWarrior Flight Training in Pensacola, Florida, is where that journey takes flight. Cadets train in a full-time, structured Part 141 environment while gaining experience in our modern training fleet, including Diamond aircraft. Throughout the program, cadets progress through each stage of their flight training while remaining connected to the larger JetBlue Gateway Select pathway.

Start Your Gateway Select Journey
The journey begins with JetBlue. Prospective cadets apply directly through JetBlue Gateway Select and complete JetBlue's selection process. Candidates accepted into the program then transition to SkyWarrior in Pensacola to begin their flight training.

Train at SkyWarrior
Once you arrive in Pensacola, aviation becomes your full-time focus. You'll train in an environment built around developing professional pilots, with experienced instructors, a modern aircraft fleet, dedicated training facilities, and housing available for cadets who are relocating to Pensacola.
Your training progresses through the certificates and ratings required by the Gateway Select pathway, including Private Pilot, Instrument, Commercial, Multi-Engine, CFI, and CFII, before moving into the experience-building phase of the program.

From Cadet to Professional Pilot
Earning your certificates is only part of the journey. After completing the required training, cadets continue building flight experience as flight instructors while developing the judgment, professionalism, and aeronautical experience expected of an airline pilot.
As you progress through Gateway Select and meet the program's milestones, ATP requirements, and JetBlue's First Officer hiring requirements, the pathway ultimately leads toward the opportunity you've been working for from day one: the JetBlue flight deck.
