Military Airline

Course Overview

Current or former service members who served in the US Military and are interested in a career with Southwest Airlines as a pilot may interview for a slot in the Cadet Pathway Program.  Cadets will train from Private Pilot - CFII and they work as instructors to build flight time to the required ATP minimums.  During this training they will have touchpoints with Southwest Airlines to enhance the student learning experience.

 

This program is open to those enlisted members who would like to start their training during SKILLBRIDGE. 

Course Outline

SkyWarrior Flight Training (Pensacola, FL)

Course Outline Overview:

  • Private Pilot - CFII (MEI optional)

  • Flight Instructor with SkyWarrior​​

**This course may change if pilots added any additional ratings or flight time outside of their military service.**

A full course curriculum will be given to pilots once they have successfully completed the Destination 225  interview and have a class start date with SkyWarrior.

Pilot's entering this course must meet the following criteria:

  • Served in the United States Military and received an honorable discharge.
